ECO AmeriCorps is dedicated to helping communities address water quality and waste prevention issues. AmeriCorps members serve throughout Vermont implementing strategies to protect and improve water quality in the Lake Champlain watershed, and to prevent recyclable and compostable materials from entering our landfills. ECO AmeriCorps provides recent college graduates and opportunity to shape a lifelong career in environmental conservation, while immediately placing boots on the ground in a fight for clean water and waste reduction.

The Lyndon Economic opportunity AmeriCorps Program (LEAP) supports educational opportunities for youth in the Northeast Kingdom (Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties). LEAP members serve at area nonprofit organizations delivering a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational programming to youth from PreK through12th grade to improve childhood literacy, farm-to-school education, outdoor and natural sciences education, college preparation, and more.

Vermont Housing and Conservation Board AmeriCorps' dual goals are to create affordable housing opportunities while preserving the natural and working lands of Vermont. VHCB members provide housing placement and independent-living services, connect individuals and families with services to improve food access, and steward the natural environment to improve the ecosystem and increase access. VHCB members serve with community land trusts, homeownership centers, homeless shelters, and conservation organizations.

Vermont Youth Conservation Corps offers youth from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds an effective learning experience to develop job skills and encourage personal growth. VYCC members work together in small groups, guided by leaders, to complete projects in conservation and agriculture, increasing food access, developing recreational resources, and improving and protecting natural resources.
