The "I AM AmeriCorps" Portrait Project is an awareness campaign to recognize the millions of individuals who build and strengthen communities through AmeriCorps. There are currently over 3000 portraits of alumni, members and supporters in the project. The goal is to build the collection to at least half a million photos, which is symoblic of the approximate number of people who have served as AmeriCorps members.

Here's how you can get invovled:

1. Click here to download an "I AM AmeriCorps" sign or create your own.  Begin taking photos of your local AmeriCorps supporters (members, alumni, staff, friends and more) holding the sign.
2. Join the "I AM AmeriCorps" Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=70681798962
3. Upload your photos to the "I AM AmeriCorps" Facebook group, making sure to label it "Vermont Commission on National and Community Service."
